Thanks for the patch. There's still a lot to do before I can safely use 
debexpo for mentors. Unfortunately since the end of the GSoC the project 
activity has been nearly zero. I'll finish a few things with 
screenshots.debian.net and my next project on the list is basically taking 
over debexpo. Would be a pity to leave it in the current state.

Yes, you need to compile the i18n catalog:

$> python setup.py compile_catalog

I hoped it would be documented.
