Hi, Jonny...
I'm following the repository and I like what I see so far. Just for the fun
of nitpicking I wanted to ask if you could add debug logging. You seem to
be dealing with parsing control files at the moment. And lots of things
can go wrong there (just ask how many traps I fell into when hacking
together mentors.debian.net). So it would be nice if we could just
increase the logging level to logging.DEBUG just in case and see what's
going on under the hood.
I'm doing something similar on http://mentors.debian.net/logs/ in the
current mentors.debian.net code. It's tedious indeed but when something
happens during the import of packages the administrator is likely not
present to debug the code but needs to find out later where the whole
thing broke.
You are already documenting the code well. Perhaps adding logging is
similar to that - just add logging where you go. Don't mean to push you
though if that's what you intended anyway.
Cheers
Christoph
