I wasn't aware the general way of an email could be that unclear. But
I'm working with this tutorial for many years now so I'm especially
interested in where other people got stuck to be more precise and
verbose there.
Let me know if there is more missing. Don't feel that it's just "your
own stupitidy". The whole matter is complicated - especially for non-gurus.

Honestly I haven't even used the LVM since three months ago. But a
coworker at my new employer is an LVM evangelist and it didn't take long
to persuade me. It has already saved my life multiple times.
And XFS is a nice file system, too. I had taken ReiserFS but due to the
murder of Mr. Reiser (who was the main developer) I wouldn't bet that
ReiserFS will be there forever. XFS probably will.
